CREA UniCa, tomorrow the ribbon cutting ceremony
Tomorrow there will be the inauguration of the CREA UniCa – Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, along with the 3rd edition of Unica&Imprese
CREA, opening ceremony. Tomorrow, May 31st, 2017, there will be the inauguration of the CREA UniCa – Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the University of Cagliari. The Center coordinates and manages the activities of the Contamination Lab (designed for promoting business culture), Contamination UP (incubator) and Unica&Imprese, whose 3rd edition will be held during the inauguration of the CREA, starting at h15.30. This event facilitates the meeting between researchers and entrepreneurs, and has been curated by UniCa’s Vice Rector, Annalisa Bonfiglio, and CREA’s director, Chiara Di Guardo. UniCa’s Rector, Maria Del Zompo, is scheduled to make a speech at h18.30, along with Regional councilman, Raffaele Paci and councilwoman Marzia Cilloccu, municipality of Cagliari.
Creativity, contest and music. CREA hosts an interesting photographic exhibition dedicated to researchers. An artistic contest will be introduced during the inauguration; it will be reserved to UniCa’s students of every course of studies, and its main theme is the relationship between creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship. The works compete for a Jury Award (3 money prizes, € 1500, 1000 and 500) and a Social prize (the possibility to display the work in Ab Factory’s gallery and hold a personal exhibit in the premises of the CREA UniCa. At h19.00, there will be an happy hour hosted in CREA’s garden. The Manuela Mameli Quintet will lighten up the atmosphere.
Unica&Imprese. More than 100 businesses will attend Unica&Imprese’s 3rd edition, and meet with 46 academics and researchers. It will be introduced a set of interesting services and opportunities, starting from cooperations wth the University, exploitation of intellectual property, job placement, PhDs, financing opportunities, industrial research and experimental development. Sardegna Ricerche, Autonomous Region of Sardinia will introduce notices and calls on multifunctionality and innovation. Among the businesses expected at the ceremony there will be Sardex, Space, Endando and Sartek.
