IED, created in 1966 following the vision of Francesco Morelli, is an international excellence with Italian blood, operating in the field of education and research in Design, Fashion, Visual Arts and Communication.
IED is an evolving educational system, capable of thinking and re-thinking about itself with a precise mission: to give young, creative people a complete formation, a “Project Culture” accompanying them in a lifelong learning path.
A hotbed of ideas that develops creativity via Post graduate, Masters and Specialization courses
IED offers 4 bachelor’s degree courses: Product Design, Interior Design, Fashion Design and Visual Arts & Multimedia. Each and every course has been acknowledged by the Italian Ministry of University and Research; they all issue an Associate Degree.
CLab UniCa for IED – Istituto Europeo di Design
IED has always been cooperating with public and private local bodies, because it acknowledges, looks for and interprets the local “genius loci” in which it is established.
Thanks to its ties with the cultural, economic and entrepreneurial environment in which IED operates, every student gets in touch with local stakeholders, thus strengthening her or his cultural background and experience, hence the importance of the cooperation with CLab UniCa
