Techitalia is a community which gathers together founders, investors, and Italian professionals working at the tech in London. It was founded three years ago and has approximately 2000 members to date. This community is the reason for the creation, in January 2018, of TechitaliaLab, the very first “business accelerator” that supports Italian start-ups in London.
The programme envisages:
– a co-working space in central London;
– access to the Techitalia network;
– support from a pool of over 60 mentors and experts;
– connection with business angels and institutional investors.
CLab UniCa for TECHITALIA LTD
Although TechitaliaLab and CLab share the same objectives ( i.e. supporting the growth and the expansion of early stage start-ups), they are involved in different stages of the project.
The primary CLab task is that of managing the first stage of development ( i.e. generating business idea, MVP development, etc…) whilst TechitaliaLab provides a training aimed at “accelerating” an already established business. It represents a point of reference for all Italian start-ups, wishing to expand into the English market.

TechitaliaLab will reward the winner of the fifth edition of Clab UniCa with a free acceleration programme (Finale #05Edizione).
The TechitaliaLab programme is of great interest to CLabbers who want to expand commercially or raise funds in the UK market.
Furthermore, TechitaliaLab is currently developing other projects addressed both to students and founders, which could result in a great benefit for your community.
